| Description | We specialise in smaller weddings and our 'Campbell Library' is the perfect choice for those intimate weddings, with a maximum of 24 guests. The civil ceremony can be conducted in the traditional oak panelled library, and your wedding breakfast served in the adjacent sun lounge. (Please note both these rooms are designated as non-smoking) Our picturesque Lake District location, with Ullswater and surrounding fells, offers stunning backdrops for photographs of your special day (which I am sure will be treasured for years to come) We currently charge a £100.00 civil ceremony/room hire fee and you will need to book the registrar yourself We recommend your ceremony is held informally in the traditional library section if you have 12 guests or less, or in the sun lounge if up to 24 guests (as in this pricture) Once the sun lounge section is set for your reception with crisp white tablecloths, sparkling glasses and silverware, it really does look stunning. The room hire can also include the evening, and we can provide a late light buffet if required. For larger weddings of up to 80 our Dining Room is available throughout the day (12 midday until 5.00pm) but we are unable to offer a venue for an evening celebration unless you book out the entire hotel (2 nights required over a weekend) Please contact a wedding co-ordinator for further details |
